Clare Tyas was born in West Yorkshire in 1973. Ever since an early age she was passionate about and fascinated with drawing and painting.

Studied at Dewsbury Art College, then a BA Hons degree in Fine Art and illustration at Leeds Bradford College of Art.

After the opportunity to study Art, explore and pursue my artistic skills I started to develop my own unique personal style. Which is a distinctive, lively, vibrant, rich in colour, natural composition of light and space.

Capturing a memory from a sketch, a notion, a feeling, a page in a diary, a soulful feeling – putting a daily frame of mind into Art.

My belief is that Art should be for everybody. Creating a sense of joy, warmth, and a smile. Capturing a moment in time.

Real – authentic – with a quirky fondness – art to create a smile.
